The desire for immediate gratification is inherent in many areas of life. And so it is with those who crave clear visual evidence of UFOs. To satisfy this urge, several “UFO Porn” channels on YouTube have recently emerged. They air raw footage with explicit images of UFOs that traditional media finds too hot to handle.
These channels often follow a format that titillates the viewer by highlighting anomalous UFO videos from around the world that are played in quick succession. Climactic music generally plays in the background. They obtain their content from the net or it is sent to them. They often provide any known details that they have about the videos and offer opinions on what is being shown that are usually well thought out and balanced. Zoomed-in close ups, stabilization, and slow motion are frequently applied to the videos to reveal greater detail. They then quickly move on to the next video knowing that their viewers want to be continually stimulated by new imagery. This is “UFO Porn”.
What distinguishes this from other YouTube UFO channels is that UFO Porn does not pretend to “dive deeply” into the phenomena with extended analysis, discussion of UFO news items, or lengthy interviews with researchers or witnesses. Rather, UFO Porn is strictly visual excitement – videos presented in a rapid-fire way to arouse attention like eye candy. Though the videos are carefully selected, and review of the salient details is offered, it appears that entertaining the viewer is a primary goal of these channels.
Many of these channels have a relatively small number of views and subscribers, though some do attract several hundred thousand.

UFO Sightings Daily, operated by researcher Scott Waring in Taiwan, is a channel that currently has 1.6 thousand videos, 80,000 subscribers, and an average of 5,000 views per video. Mr. Waring often offers NASA films or photos of outer space, Mars and the Moon where he gleans seeing UFOs passing by or even ET-built “monuments”. He also does this with Google Earth satellite imagery. However, some of his interpretations of this imagery can at times verge on pareidolia (the tendency to see meaningful images in ambiguous visual patterns).

The Sneezing Monkey, from the UK, is a channel that currently has 1,000 videos, 37,200 subscribers, and an average of 200,000 views per video. The unnamed gentlemen who created and hosts this channel approaches the analysis of his presented videos with critical thinking. This channel also appears to be the most skeptical one.

The smallest of these mentioned channels, Jenided often presents videos not shown elsewhere but also lacks narration and substituting dramatic instrumentals.

The reason for the increase in such channels is that UFO Porn reveals that which was previously hidden. It is a substitute for the real thing – personal involvement in the actual sighting of a UFO.
For those who have never been fortunate enough to see a UFO themselves, being able to view others’ sightings on film is as close as they may ever come to the experience.
Just as TikTok and short-form videos now pervade the general cyber culture, the advent of UFO Porn was to be expected, given our limited attention span and our desire for continually changing content in search of the “next big thing”. The YouTube channels cited deliver on this.

And a great number of the videos on these channels are superior to any famous historical UFO films. Several of these channel’s videos deserve much greater media exposure, and they should be analyzed by professionals.
Collectively, these channels include many thousands of unique videos from around the globe. If even a very small percentage of these films are genuine, the reality of visiting extraterrestrials has been visually confirmed and recorded.
